Community Connections is an organization that requires customer intimate relationships between our affordable housing clients and business partners. We provide homebuyer education and counseling that will position a client for successful homeownership. We also provide skilled analysis to determine down payment assistance required for each client. As a result, we bring together all necessary resources to allow our clients to achieve the American Dream of home ownerships and build wealth one household at a time.

Community Connections is the housing division of Pathfinder Services, Inc., a not for profit Human Services Organization based in Huntington Indiana since 1966.  After thirty years of serving individuals with disabilities Pathfinder Services Inc. observed that for many very-low income families housing costs consume more than 50% of total family income.  Upon further investigation it was learned that there were no organizations in the Corporation’s service region that provided affordable housing as a part of their mission. Community Connections was created in 1997 to fulfill this need.

The mission of Community Connections is to enhance, through home ownership, the self-sufficiency of low-income families, especially those with special needs, throughout Northeast Indiana. The goal of Community Connections is to “Create Wealth One Household at a Time” for every homeowner who goes through our homeownership program.

Community Connections provides various services to the affordable housing market.  Clients consist of both first-time and current homeowners as well as builders and real estate professionals.
