Jan Baumgartner, Director

As the Community Connections Director, Jan oversees all homeownership programs and the Universal Housing Development Corporation in Indianapolis. She is an I.U. graduate and has over 17 years experience managing a multi-faceted not-for-profit organization.

Jeff Teusch, Assistant Director

Jeff has 15 years experience in the real estate industry and has been with Community Connections since 2001. He is the primary liaison between Community Connections and area realtors, builders and the business community. He is a Certified Homeowner Counseling Trainer and is responsible for scheduling and teaching homeownership classes. He conducts public presentations of our services, supports homebuyers through the loan application process, and also administers 45 active IDA accounts and an auto buying grant program.

Rose Diffendarfer, Mortgage Specialist

Rose has been a licensed realtor since 1985 and licensed broker since 1988. Rose has received training in the areas of loss mitigation, fair housing, anti-trust regulations, and mortgage finance. Rose has been with Community Connections for five years. She specializes in and has been publicly recognized for her expertise in originating IHCDA's First Home product.

Mike Davis, Loss Mitigation Specialist

Mike has over 14 years experience in the field of homebuyer counseling and education, mortgage collections and loss mitigation. He was recently hired by Pathfinder Services to provide education and support to families who either have credit issues preventing home purchase or to homeowners who are having difficulty making their monthly mortgage payment. Mike is certified in delinquency and foreclosure prevention.

Sherri Divine, Administrative Assistant

Sherri has been a Community Connections staff member since 2003. Her primary responsibilities include compiling required credit information on potential homebuyers, loan origination, and front-end loan processing. She also assists with homebuyer education and completing loan applications.

Trish Kraner, Fort Wayne Manager

Real Estate Developer

Trish has been with Community Connections since 2006, and is responsible for marketing to business partners and the general public the Down Payment Assistance Program available through the City of Fort Wayne. Trish leads potential homebuyers through the steps of qualifying for and obtaining assistance needed to purchase homes within the city limits. She also represents Community Connections in the renovation of Renaissance Pointe, a depressed area of Fort Wayne undergoing intensive rebuilding of single-family homes. Trish is also a licensed real estate agent and a member of the Fort Wayne Association of Realtors.

Sandy Wolfe, Fort Wayne Administrative Assistant

Sandy is a new addition to the Fort Wayne office. She not only provides the expertise needed to run the Fort Wayne office, but also facilitates the Fort Wayne Homebuyer Education classes. Previously, Sandy worked as the administrator of her church office and as a secretary to attorneys specializing in corporate, real estate and general law.
