Homeownership Education helps you learn what you need to know

Home Ownership Education (HBE) and Counseling

Community Connections offers Home Buyer Education to applicants that are pre-screened and their credit report indicates that they can obtain mortgage financing. The course is at least 8 hours and is available in one to three class sessions depending on the make-up of the class.

Loan Application Processing

Upon the homeowner's completion of an offer, the loan application in initiated. Community Connections completes the application with the client and secures all necessary information. The file is completed and submitted to a financial institution and/or the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) for approval. Subsequent to loan approval, Community Connections secures the down payment assistance, packages all necessary documentation necessary to close the loan, establishes a closing date, and accompanies the client ot the closing.
