The Coleman's Dream
With Pathfinder Community Connection's help, the Coleman's were able to receive $20,000 in forgivable down payment assistance loans toward their new home.
They were also able to become prepared in what it takes to own a home through home ownership education classes and qualify to get additional money towards their children's college fund through Pathfinder Community Connections Individual Development Account program. Jessica Coleman stated, "I personally had a great experience with Trish Carpenter and the staff of Pathfinder Community Connections. Trish walked us through the entire process, and I felt that she leant me an ear from the beginning all the way to the end when she sat with my son and colored with him during our closing. She was very willing and able to walk us through the entire home buying process, and answer any questions we had." |

Gerald and Jessica Coleman did not
think their dream of building a brand new home would be possible for
them until they called Pathfinder Community Connections and spoke with Trish
Carpenter. Trish helped the Coleman's realize their dream was
possible, and helped them get a brand new home in the City of Fort
Wayne.
